The legendary Bigfoot was the predominant backbeat of George Clinton’s P-Funk organization and now has another groove with Bigfoot & Bondz.

Parliament-Funkadelic and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, Jerome “Bigfoot” Brailey, has an innovative album coming out through Hoopla Media Group / LRT / INgrooves Fontana called “The Lovinator Experiment” with his new group Bigfoot & Bondz.

“Signing Jerome Bigfoot Brailey to our company with his Bigfoot & Bondz project is a monumental highlight for our company. I framed his signature on our company record contract, I mean really, does it get any bigger than this?” says Jonathan Hay (co-owner of Hoopla Media Group / Hoopla Worldwide and Jonathan Hay Publicity).

Jerome “Bigfoot” Brailey is undoubtedly one of the giants of Funk music. Wherever you turn in P-Funk territory you are bound to trip over the infectious beats of Jerome “Bigfoot” Brailey. Bigfoot will live forever in P-Funk lore, when Uncle Jam said he wanted you, Jerome answered the call and made his move from the outer regions of sanity to the inner sanctum of the Funk Overlord, George Clintonand helped the concept of Pure Funk-–or P-Funk–-became a reality, courtesy of “The Mothership Connection”. It’s hard to imagine the sound of this momentous album without the fluid drumming ofJerome Brailey, who also co-wrote the track that epitomized the sound of Parliament’s “Give Up The Funk (Tear The Roof Off The Sucker)”.

Nas Reportedly Launches New Label, Kings And Queens

Nas architects a new record imprint, according to Young Money’s Tyga.

Nas has reportedly launched a new record label titled Kings and Queens.

During an interview on MTV’s RapFix Live with Sway Calloway, Tyga, who collaborated with Esco and Wale on the cut “Kings and Queens,”  said that the Queensbridge rapper took inspiration from the cut and decided to start his own imprint bearing the same name.

“[Nas] actually has a label called Kings and Queens that he just started, so he was like, it’s just cliché that I sent him a song called ‘[King] and Queens’ and he just started a label called Kings and Queens, which is crazy,” he said.

Nas previously launched Ill Will Records in 1999 upon releasing his fourth album Nastradamus. In 2005, he launched The Jones Experience under Def Jam.

The promotions behind “Blame Yo Self”

Jonathan Hay of Jonathan Hay Publicity and Hoopla Worldwide and Michael Bentley of Spin Doctor PR Firm have teamed up to break the first big song of 2012, Zac Fresh’s single “Blame Yo Self” featuring Cyhi the Prynce of Kanye West’s GOOD Music record label.

The song was recently featured on AllHipHop, SOHH, HipHopDX, 2DopeBoyz as well as 300 other websites across the globe online. It seems to be the first major hit from an indie artist in 2012, and the major labels are already looking to sign up the hip youngster, Zac Fresh.

Bentley and Hay and their respected companies joined forces late last year to help indie artists get ahead in radio promotions, publicity, marketing and consulting that was once dominated by major labels. This is the first major push from the companies and success for the single is already happening. Hoopla Worldwide has already setup the official remix for the single.

Spin Doctor PR firm was formed as an online publicity outlet for artists on a budget, and with the help from multi-platinum industry heavyweight, Jonathan Hay, it has quickly become one of the top options for indie artists looking to get maximum exposure.

“Blame Yo Self” is preparing for a Billboard Chart entry with national airplay rotation across the country on both FM and XM dials.

Some of the upcoming records they will be promoting include singles from Audio Stepchild’s “Every Coincidence is Significant” and Sabrina’s “Something Like A Renegade”, both being internationally distributed through Hoopla Worldwide / WIDEawake Entertainment / E1 Music.
